eShopper

eShopper is a Java application that allows the user to create shopping lists. These lists are then exported to a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) where they can be brought to the store and used as normal paper lists.

Why Use eShopper?

While good PDA shopping list applications do exist, they are somewhat limited. First, it is difficult to enter data with a stylus on a PDA, so entering in the list items is long and tiresome. Since eShopper is a desktop application, the keyboard and mouse can be used normally, making data entry much more convenient. Second, it would be nice to automate converting recipes to a list of ingredients, but current PDA applications don't allow this. eShopper allows for recipe management, meal planning and automatic list generation from recipes.
